About Us

Established in 1981 SCE Ashman has a long history in material handling and their utilization.

Since our inception we have handled millions of tons of -

• Iron Fines
• Coal
• Manganese
• Fly Ash
• Spent Waxes and various other materials.

Our Briquetting and agglomeration division started in 1999 producing Zinc fertilizer pellets since then Briquetting has developed in to our core business and we have processed over 1,000,000 tons of raw and recycled materials.

From this period SCE Ashman as developed several low concentration briquetting adhesive systems for various high value commodities fines.

Energy Saving composite Briquettes and Mobile and Modular Briquetting plants for on-site bulk testing or full scale production.

SCE Ashman is currently in the transitional phase of obtaining a BEE Level 4 status.

Other Services

SCE Ashman is a supplier and operator of Mobile and Modular (Containerized) Briquetting Plants, all of which require less than 100m2 of floor area (excluding product storage).

The units can be truck mounted with external conveyor or skip loading or containerized and suitable for export.






Plant output Ranges from 1 ton per hour to 12-15 tons per hour depending on the density of the raw material.

Our most popular Models for on-site production or large scale testing are

D300 Twin – 200-220 tons per day ,0- 3000Psi roll pressure , 180Kw total

D200 – 150-180 tons per day , 0-3000 Psi roll pressure , 125kW
